About
History
In 1950 Jim Wallace started acquiring prime real estate through Wallace Oil Company in the Atlanta Metro Area for convenience stores and land investments. Over a period of 50 years Jim Wallace developed over 100 convenient stores. A few of these properties are still owned today by the family.
In 1969 Wallace Retail Properties (“WRP”) was formed to serve as the development arm for Wallace Oil Company convenience stores.
As WRP evolved, it began developing retail strip centers in the Atlanta Metro Area, as well as anchored shopping centers in the Southeast and Midwest.
As a privately held company, WRP takes a selective approach to development and acquisitions to ensure a successful project for WRP as well as our tenants.
